1) I'm deployed, and I catch an episode of 60 Minutes about a family that has a baby just to harvest its organs for one of their other children. And then, after they have the baby, they decide to keep it. The family visits the deployed location where I am, and I really want to meet them. Jeremiah tells me about a broken sink, and I go to fix it. I wonder why he can't fix it. I'm trying to finish the job really quick because I want to meet the family from 60 Minutes.

1) I'm at work one night, and Carrie Thomas comes in and tells me I have to act in a play the next day and I need to go home and memorise a bunch of lines. The play is some kind of modern-day take on Hamlet. I get back to work the next morning and I'm wearing PT gear. I haven't memorised my lines at all, plus I'm supposed to be in a dance recital that morning. Work looks like a classroom, and there are these really nice Apple laptops at every desk. I sit at my desk, and I'm looking at stuff on the internet. I end up finding some site where a bunch of frat guys are dipping their balls in mugs of beer and then giving them to girls to drink. I think it's funny, and when JoAnn comes in, I show it to her. Then some PT leader guy comes in and we all stand in a circle lifting dumbbells. The PT leader guy is standing right behind me, so I turn around and tell him to get off my ass. JoAnn starts laughing, and I tell her I've had enough PT and that I need to study my lines for the play that afternoon.

1) I'm at the gym, and I see my Chief. I say hi to her, and she tells me that my deployment has moved up, and that I need to report to the squadron immediately. I grab all my stuff and head to the squadron. Everyone is there, packing all their stuff, and getting ready to ship out. I'm worried because I haven't had a chance to pack or get my house in order. I see Frank and ask him if he's packed, and he says he's not even going on the deployment now. I go back where everyone's bags are, and wonder if someone packed mine for me.

2) I'm driving down the road with someone, and we see a girl pushing her car on the side of the road. We stop and ask if she needs help. We get her car to some old cabin, and she says she just needs gas. I give her my credit card and she says she'll be back in a minute. I tell my friend that I think I can trust this girl, because the last girl I helped ended up stealing my wallet (which may have been from a totally different dream). The girl comes back and puts gas in her car. As she's about to leave, some guys in a big pickup truck try to steal her car. I go outside and try to stop them. Then, somehow, I'm watching all this play out on a video, and this guy is standing behind me narrating, like he's seen it all before. I leave and hop in a bug truck with a bunch of guys, and we go to an apartment where we're all living. I get on Facebook and see that my Mom has logged in. I try to chat with her, but then I turn around and see she's standing right behind me. I get up and give her a hug.

Monday, November 09, 2009

1) I'm at work, and it's a mix of people from my shops in Utah and Italy. We're having some kind of luncheon and I'm trying to linger at the back of the room. Our superintendent calls me out, and makes me stand in front of everyone because I'm getting ready to deploy. I move toward the front of the room, and stand between two other guys. Everyone starts telling funny stories about me, but I don't remember any of the stories actually happening. I just keep smiling and laughing when everyone else laughs. Then they ask me to tell a story, but I'm not sure if anything I remember will be something they remember.

Saturday, October 17, 2009

1) I'm living in a huge warehouse with a bunch of people. Most of them are there because they like to race cars and there's some big race going on and they have no place else to stay. I'm sleeping on a little cot between two people I don't know, but I can't really sleep because everyone is being loud. All I can think about is how I want to see the "Where The Wild Things Are" movie, and it's playing soon. So I decide to get up and walk outside. I find the movie theatre and go inside. The movie starts and after about two hours, the wild things still haven't shown up, and I'm wondering if this is some kind of special director's cut or something.

2) I'm at the top of the World Trade Center with about fifteen other people. The planes have already hit, and everyone up there is kind of in shock. I already know that the towers are going to collapse, but I don't think anyone else knows. I'm just wondering what it's going to feel like when the floor falls out from under us, and when everything will eventually go black. Some guys grab a big couch from inside and toss it out a window. I'm not sure what they're trying to do, but then I think maybe there was someone sitting on it and he's hoping it will break his fall. It's starting to get really smoky, and I go back out to the observation balcony. I look over the side and I see the flames coming out of the building and people running around on the ground. I start to walk back inside, and then the building starts to fall. Slowly at first, and then faster. I get that falling feeling in the pit of my stomach. Suddenly, I find myself in water. It's almost like a swimming pool because it's so bright and clear. I'm wondering if the rest of the building is going to fall on top of me, but the only thing I can see in the water are other people.

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

1) I'm home visiting my parents, and we go out to eat with their Wednesday night crew. After we get back home, we cut into a cheesecake I made earlier that day. After we eat, I see there are tons of dishes in the sink, so I start washing them. But every time I wash a dish, there seems to be even more. I try washing them faster, but they somehow keep piling up. I decide to give up, and maybe do some more in the morning. I go into another room where everyone is watching television. I sit on a really comfortable sofa and pull a blanket over me. A little brown dachshund jumps on my lap, and it's the friendliest dog ever. I start petting it and playing with it, and I feel like we kinda understand each other. I instantly fall in love with this dog. The next morning, everyone is really sad, and I feel like it has something to do with the dog. There's another family staying at our house, and they have all their bags packed and we have to take them to the airport.

Tuesday, September 01, 2009

1) I'm riding on some kind of environmentally-friendly electric motorcycle that hovers above the ground. I think I'm in Chicago, and I'm riding downtown by the river. I'm not really sure of my destination. I'm just riding around, trying to find someplace cool to go. I end up stopping at a pre-school. There are all these mothers outside waiting to pick up their children, and I start up a conversation with one. She asks about my motorcycle and I start making up a bunch of stuff about it, hoping that she doesn't know the real answer. MSgt Hammes comes out and he and I go to this big bookstore. He buys something, but I don't see what it is.

Wednesday, August 26, 2009

1) I'm on the Titanic with everyone from my choir in college. We're on deck when it hits the iceberg, but nobody really seems to care. We get into the lifeboats and I'm in one with Kim and Nikki. They take us to shore, which doesn't seem that far away, and put us all on a big school bus. They take us to a high school where we have to walk up and down these really steep stairs, but we don't really get anywhere. Kim and Nikki are trying to get back to the bus to get their clothes, but we're supposed to warm up first. I tell them I'll sneak off and run to the bus to get their stuff, but I'm worried Doc will get mad.

Wednesday, August 19, 2009

1) I've been invited to my friend Chad's gallery opening, but before I go, I have to help my brother move this big couch. The couch is in the back of a big truck, and it seems like Chris is totally taking his time. I'm getting really frustrated, but trying not to think about it. I'm sitting in the front seat reading a self-help book written by Brad Pitt. I get out of the truck and walk down this really steep hill toward the gallery. As I get closer, I see there are so many people gathered around, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it inside. I'm hoping I can just yell out for Chad, and he'll make people move aside and let me through.

Wednesday, July 22, 2009

1) I'm walking through a little seaside fishing village, and a small dog is following me. Then it gets in front of me and wants me to follow it. We go between a bunch of small houses, and the dog stops at one, and then runs away. I look in the house and my friend Rob is inside. I haven't seen him in a long time, so I knock on the door. He opens the door and we hug and he tells me he's getting ready to move back to Utah. I go inside and start helping him move a bunch of boxes. There's a strange talk show on television, and we take a break and laugh at the crazy people on it.

Tuesday, July 14, 2009

1) I'm sleeping over at MSgt Hammes' house, and the next morning, we all get up and get in their car to go to work. Trish is dressed in her scrubs and she's sitting in the driver's seat. I'm in the back, and the two of them are talking about something but I can't hear what they're saying. Trish puts her feet up on the dashboard. Suddenly, I'm riding in a totally different car. This time, Luke is in the passenger seat, and his wife is driving. They're both smoking. I'm wondering if I'm going to make it to work on time.

Friday, July 10, 2009

1) I move into a really old house with a basement. It rains a lot, and the basement floods. There's some old furniture down there, but nothing major, so I invite all my friends over to see if we can do anything about it. The basement is really big, and somehow, it's only flooded in certain parts, but where it is flooded, it's a couple feet deep. I start hopping across the tops of couches and desks, trying not to fall in the water. I go back outside, and my friends are all running around. I start chasing them, and somehow end up in this big forest. We're trying to find different paths, and I follow one down into a big, rocky ravine. I see some mountain lions, and wonder if they see me. I keep really still because I'm not sure how dangerous they are.

Tuesday, June 09, 2009

1) I go to Shaun's house, and he tells me he has some problems with his house flooding the week before. I go into his basement, and there are stairs that just keep going further and further down. Eventually, they go all the way to these canals from Venice. It's really beautiful and the architecture is amazing. I go back upstairs and everyone has gone out for dinner, so I don't know what to do.

Monday, June 08, 2009

1) I'm in a recording studio with the Beatles and they're recording songs they'll eventually do on "A Hard Day's Night." John Paul Jones is there and keeps claiming that he's really the fifth Beatle. We all record a couple songs together, and they give the recording to me. I give it to this secretary lady that works there, and tell her to never lose it. I get the autographs of all the Beatles, and the Mike Tyson shows up. I get his autograph, too, on the same paper as the Beatles. The Beatles leave the studio, and there are tons of screaming girls outside. I walk out with Mike Tyson, and we have to go through this really small tunnel, which keeps getting smaller and smaller until we have to crawl. The tunnel becomes a bridge over a river, and I'm getting a little claustrophobic and worried it's going to fall.

Monday, May 18, 2009

1) I'm at work, and Garah is working with me. We have some kind of a dig, and we hit a comm line. We go to comm and the girl we talked to on the phone is sitting in her office. We go in to tell her we hit the line, but as soon as we get there, she leaves. We try to chase her down. Garah starts running after her, and I go back to the van to clean it out. I go back to the shop and I'm trying to get the wasps out of the back of the van. Garah's parents and my parents are in the shop making a bunch of food. Apparently, there's some kind of big pot-luck lunch going on, and I've made some kind of fruit salad. Bill gets a call saying something about someone who's had a heart attack and he asks me when Garah will be back.

Friday, May 01, 2009

1) I'm eating with some friends at a Chili's, and after we're done, I walk into the basement to try and find the recipes for everything on their menu. While I'm down there, a server comes in a catches me. I tell her I'm just looking for the nutritional information for their food, and we talk about some other stuff. There are a bunch of edible flowers down there, and she gives me some.

2) Something involving two fighting helicopters, and I'm the pilot on one of them, and we keep shooting guns at the other one.

3) I'm a back-up singer for Billy Joel. We're rehearsing for a concert in Italy. I'm not sure where I'm supposed to walk on the stage, and a lot of the songs don't sound familiar at all to me. I leave the rehearsal, and I'm walking around the city. A little girl starts following me, and I lead her into a girl scout meeting. I wait by the door, and all the other girl scouts start coming out. There are some robbers around the corner, so I wait for the girls' parents to come because I don't want the robbers to get them. I keep walking around the city, and I feel like an old man because I can't walk very fast at all. I see some teenage kid pull a gun on a mechanic in a garage, and I yell at him to stop.

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

1) I'm walking down the main road in Morganfield, between my house and downtown. The leaves on the trees are so thick and green, they make a tunnel over the road. I'm walking toward the library, and I see these two old ladies talking on the sidewalk. I say hi to them, and one of them looks at me funny, but keeps talking anyway. I'm almost downtown, and Dad picks me up in a blue van. We're driving to Church, but the street before Church is blocked off for a parade, so we take a detour around the bank. I park the van, and I see a bunch of my uniforms in the back. There's a girl in the street telling us we can't cross because of the parade.

Monday, April 27, 2009

1) I'm walking through an outdoor mall with Alex. Every store is a candy store, and I'm trying to find something that looks good, but a lot of stuff is really expensive. I find a place that sells fudge and buy a few ounces. We leave the mall and drive to a shed out in the woods. There are a bunch of people meeting there for a fishing trip. Jim is there and he's waiting on his dad. Keena is getting all his fishing gear on the boat. Corey and Johnny are laying on the floor.

Thursday, April 23, 2009

1) I'm deployed, and I'm walking around camp barefoot. Everyone in camp is going to the chow hall at the same time, so I run back to my tent to grab some shoes, and by the time I get back outside, everyone is gone. I walk around for a few minutes, hoping someone I know will come walking by. I see Justin Hubbard, and we walk through camp, which ends up looking like a really old city. Suddenly there are people and busses everywhere. We look for a place to eat, and decide on a take out place. We take our food back to the day room, and there are all kind of weird board games.

Sunday, March 29, 2009

1) I'm deployed, and I'm staying in a trailer with Johnny and Jenny. We're walking around camp, trying to find out way around. We decide to go get something to eat. I decide I'm going to take a truck to the chow hall, and I'm driving there and realise I don't have any shoes on. So I turn around and go back to camp. As I'm pulling in the gate, I see Johnny and Jenny walking out. I ask them to wait for me. The gate guard stops me, and I start talking to him in Italian, but he responds in Spanish. Another guard gives me a check that my Mom sent for $8,203.56. I'm kinda freaking out and wondering why my Mom sent me so much money. I drive back to my room, and it seems like it's taking a long time to get there. I wonder if Johnny and Jenny will still be waiting for me at the gate.

Tuesday, March 24, 2009

1) I'm home, and my family goes to Church in Morganfield. All the pews are turned sideways, and at the end of the service, the preacher gives a really long prayer. I look around and see all the people that were old when I was a kid, and they're still there. We leave Church, and go to a big trash heap. We're supposed to be looking for something, but it's really disgusting, and for some reason, I don't have any shoes on, so I don't really want to walk around in all the garbage.

Sunday, March 08, 2009

1) I'm going to some kind of Church retreat along the coast in Ireland. I'm driving up there, and there's another guy in the car with me. We're wanting to get there a little early, and we're going by GPS directions. It seems like we're taking a long time to get there. We finally arrive, and there are tons of people there already, helping us find where to put our stuff. There are all these small-group leaders lined up under big signs saying what group they're leading. The guy who rode with me is talking on his cell phone, and plays some kind of prank that gets everyone mad at him.

Wednesday, February 25, 2009

1) I'm at PT, and we're in the grass right next to my shop. We're stretching and doing callisthenics, and I realise I have flip-flops on. The commander says we're going to run four miles, and I'm wondering if I can make it without running shoes. Everyone starts to take off down the running path, and I squat down and pretend to tie my shoe. I wait for everyone to pass, and then walk across the street. There's a really nice hotel or something, and I walk inside and find out it's a retirement home. I walk by the pool, and I see this girl from my squadron who's also skipping out on the run. We look at each other and smile. I walk outside, and decide to try to get to the gym where my other shoes are. I'm trying to walk really fast, but my body won't move. To my left is a big stage surrounded by a tall fence. I get inside the fence and see that Interpol is playing on the stage. There are all these big black vines all over and Interpol is trying to discuss the meanings of some of their songs. The vines keep grabbing onto my legs.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

1) I get deployed to Afghanistan, and we're walking into a tent city. I'm helping all these girls with their bags, even though they're not being very nice to me. I take their bags into their rooms, and it looks like the inside of a college dorm room. I go back outside, and see Major Figiera with a bunch of people from my squadron. He asks me to deliver an envelope to one of the girls. I take it back over, and ask if she's around. One of the other girls says she'll give it to her, but I don't trust her, so I make sure to give it directly to the right girl. I leave and walk into a tent across the street. It's a really nice commissary, with lots of organic food and stuff. I want to buy some stuff, but I'm not sure if there's a refrigerator in my tent.

Wednesday, February 11, 2009

1) I'm taking part in some kind of religious ritual, wherein five other guys and me have burned our bodies, and our skin is all twisted and nasty. We're carrying this big wrought iron sculpture through a crowd of people. It's very solemn and some people are praying. Suddenly, these two guys run up and start yelling at us in Arabic. They put machetes to our throats and tell us to stop what we're doing and repeat what they say, or else they'll kill us. I feel the blade against my neck and wonder what I'm going to do. I start praying to God to take me out of this horrible situation, and that the two men will stop.

Tuesday, February 10, 2009

1) I'm deployed somewhere with Corey and Stan. My music theory professor from college is there, too, and he keeps quizzing us on all this music history. There's also this giant metal wheel, and think it's going to roll over and squash us. The plane comes to take us back to the States, and it lands on top of a water tower. This ladder lowers down, and we all climb up into the plane. It's really crowded with other people going back to the States, and I find an empty seat next to Clark Rothrock. We take off and then stop in some resort town so everyone can use the bathroom and get something to eat. Joann is there, and we're not hungry, but we just want to get a bottle of water, but none of the places we stop have any water. I see a little kid by himself, so I ask him where his parents are. He leads me down by the ocean, and I realise I have to get back on the plane. I get back on the plane, and we don't have enough room to take off, so the pilot guides the plane onto the tracks of a roller coaster, which gives us enough momentum to get airborne.

Friday, February 06, 2009

1) I'm shopping with my Mom and we're in some big warehouse. We keep getting separated, because neither of us really know what we're looking for. We're just walking around looking through all the products on all the huge shelves. We meet back up and walk outside. I see a cool looking store across the street and walk over to it. It's some kind of furniture/home store with products made in Africa. Theresa is working and she says she really likes it. I shop around a bit, and I want to find something because Theresa will get a commission for it.

Thursday, February 05, 2009

1) Joann and I are shopping in a big department store. Corey's birthday is coming, and we're trying to find something to buy him. We think it would be cool to get him some leather pants, and we find a pair that are black leather with patches of hot pink zebra print. Unfortunately, they don't have his size, and then I wonder if they were even for guys in the first place. Aaron comes over and tells us they have these really cool shirts with big buttons, so we go check those out, but there aren't any I think Corey will like.

Tuesday, January 27, 2009

1) I have an apartment somewhere in addition to my house, and Jeff lives next door to me there, as well. Chris, Feddie, and Taylor come over to take me shopping, and as we're walking out the door, Jeff stops and gives me a candle that has all his recreation trips for the year listed. We leave and go to a mall of some sort, and I have on this really tight grey outfit. It's so tight, that it's making my feet skid across the floor, and eventually, I start flying, feet-first. We leave the mall and hop on a train back to my house. The train is crowded, so we get on top, where there are a bunch of other people. The train stops, and we climb down, but we realise the train didn't stop on purpose. It hit something or something is wrong. We go to the front of the train, and someone has put something on the tracks. Another train comes by on the opposite track, but doesn't even slow down.

2) I'm taking some kind of lifeguard class at a big resort. Ethan's girlfriend is there, but I can't remember her name. After the class, we're sitting around talking about what we could do to improve it. I leave and go home, and my parents and a bunch of other people are there. Some old lady is taking a shower in my bathroom. I'm wanting to go meet some friends, so I skip taking a shower. I want to put on some cologne, and I open this big cabinet and there are all these different types of cologne in there, many still in the box and unopened. I'm going through them, and I can't decide which one to wear because they all smell the same. I see one is Rolling Stone cologne (the magazine, not the band), and I figure since they all smell the same, I might as well wear that one.

Monday, January 26, 2009

1) I get to work, and I'm sent out to the flightline on a job with Joann. We're driving around, but I'm not sure exactly what we're doing. We go back to the shop, and I'm still in PT gear. I ask MSgt Hammes if he wants me to put on my uniform and he says yes. I go to my desk, and there is a bunch of weird stuff happening on my computer. SSgt Smith gets mad at me because he doesn't think I know who Nelson Mandella is. I get an e-mail about how the whole wing is going to run PT in formation, so I print it out and post it on the wall.

Friday, January 23, 2009

1) I'm at work, and we're clearing out a bunch of old stuff behind our shop. There's some kind of musical going on in the background, but I can't make out what it is. TSgt Scott keeps asking me all these weird questions about school and stuff. I find an old box and it has all my high school yearbooks in it. I start looking through them, and Corey is laughing at all my old pictures. Then TSgt Scott calls everyone to attention and tells them I'm leaving to go back to school and it's the greatest honour ever.

Thursday, January 22, 2009

1) I'm shopping at a Gap somewhere, and it's New Years Eve. There are a bunch of people from my squadron shopping there, too, but I don't know who they are. I'm looking for this weird orange scented candle they used to have, and I find some other orange stuff, but not the candle. I leave and go to H&M because they're having a big sale. I find a shirt that I've been wanting, and it's on a rack that's totally crammed with other shirts. I try to find my size, but every time I grab one, I pull it out and it's a different shirt altogether.

Wednesday, January 07, 2009

1) I'm meeting Shaun, Keena, and some other people to go snowboarding. They're already at the top of the mountain, and I'm at the bottom. I have my boots on, but my board is at the top. I borrow someone's skis and somehow ski to the top of the mountain. I get there and find everyone, but now I have to go to the rental place to get a board. They give me this big glass tube that I'm supposed to use. Then I realise I already have my board, but now I need boots. So I wait around for the people working at the rental place to give me some boots. Right before they give them to me, they put this weird brown paste inside that's supposed to make them fit better and keep my feet warm.

Friday, January 02, 2009

1) I'm visiting Brian Beck, who has a really nice apartment in some big city. His upstairs is basically another apartment, and he only lives in the downstairs part. The guy who lives upstairs is Shawn, a guy I knew in SLC. I'm wondering how Brian and Shawn know each other. I leave Brian's apartment, and I'm walking through a park. It's really cold outside, and I trudge up this really steep hill. I'm almost to the top, and I look over and see Paul walking toward me. We meet at the top of the hill, and on the other side is a huge valley. The sun is coming up over the mountains on the other side, and it's the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen.

2) I volunteer in some war-torn third world country to help some rebels who are fighting against their unfair government. I don't interfere directly in the war, but I'm giving medical aid to the rebels. I'm out on the battlefield, and there are people lying injured everywhere. I'm trying to crawl to them and avoid getting hit by gunfire and bombs. I reach a guy who's bleeding really bad, and he asks me why I'm helping him.

3) I'm going to a Madonna concert with Tracey and Nikki from college and Johnny, Corey, and a few other people. Our tickets don't have assigned seats, so when we walk up to the door, there's an old lady giving out specific seats. Tracey, Nikki, and I keep going up to her, trying to get better seats. She puts me by myself, but it looks like a good seat on the chart. When we walk into the venue, it's really small, and I'm excited that Madonna is even playing here at all. When I get to my seat, though, it's in a little pit, and I can't see the stage very well. I'm wondering if I can move around to an empty seat when the show gets started, but soon, all the empty seats fill up. The opening band comes out, and it's a band made up of a really big family. There are little kids playing drums and the parents are singing. I'm thinking it's a really odd choice to open for Madonna, but I'll just go with it, and hopefully it will give me time to find a better seat.
